I’m Emma Bialecki (she/her), a recovering academic but scientist at heart. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home parent, I spent a decade as a forest ecologist. I studied tree growth, forest ecosystem dynamics, and environmental change across North America.

I love living in Chicago. On any given day you can find me biking along the river, visiting all the neighborhood parks, playing tennis, reading, and cuddling my humans and 4 backyard chickens.
